I only found one similar bug in Bugzilla: Bug 959554 - *** ERROR addons.xpi: Failed to process extension changes at startup: Error: couldn't find function symbol in library (resource://gre/modules/osfile/osfile_unix_allthreads.jsm:68) This is DUPLICATEd to: Bug 960509 - 32bit mode of Firefox 29.0a1 is busted on OS X This might be a difference between the APIs in 32bit OSX and in 64bit OSX.
