I agree with some of it... But, I don't really see the point of trying to merge web and native (other than turning the browser into the OS). And I really don't see the point of trying to play by native's rules when doing so. As long as you talk about web and native as side-by-side, the web will lose since native is controlled by a single vendor. The way we compete is by making the web work better and playing to the strengths of the web.
