So based on a quick look, it seems like the spec pretty closely matches the relevant parts of the WHATWG HTML specification: https://html.spec.whatwg.org/multipage/comms.html (sections 9.1, 9.4, and 9.5). Given the lack of any other comments, and the fact that we appear to basically implement the spec (although we haven't quite kept up with the latest changes, e.g., the addition of initMessageEvent), I'm inclined to vote in favor without comments.
