Was it one of the Telemetry Experiments? https://github.com/raymak/contextualfeaturerecommender/tree/master/phase1/experiment If you have Telemetry turned on you can be a random guinea-pig. I don't see that one listed at https://telemetry-experiment.cdn.mozilla.net/ however, but the wording in my first link makes it sound like it was intended to be one.
