The goal for WebGL documentation is to have documentation only about how the Web-specific aspects of the technology work and are used. The documentation we have now really consists only of a series of examples, and does need improvement. However, we don't intend to document the OpenGL ES API, since there's excellent documentation for that elsewhere and it really lies outside the realm of what we cover on MDN.
