Hello,
This is my first post on dev-platform at mozilla so please if my question
is not from here please just tell me. The guys from Firefox told me to go
here....

Subject : (java blocked) + (Click to run java) usabillity bug(?)

I have a java "Web application" (www.free-visit.net). the way Mozilla
manages the java player is ... killing my users experience : they have not
choce to go to chrome, because I can not do otherwyse : java won'y run even
f they have the latest-of-the-latest java ...wich is java7 update 40

*Question n°1*) Why is mozilla steel blocking java 7 update 40 ?

I think (I am not a security wizard) Oracle has fixed the security issues a
few month or weeks ago.
Is it not ?
If yes can't we just treat java player for the java7update40 like a normal
software and not a virus ?
It would ease the pan of my users.
I am not friend with oracle at all, but I would say about this case that
mozilla is today over-reacting. . Why treat Flash with more respect than
java ?
After all security issues have been fixed and java is apon source.
Chrome I believe has cooled the java-paranoia treatement also. Why not
Mozilla ?
