I have https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/request.cgi?requestee=jwalden%2Bbmo%40mit.edu&do_union=1&group=type&action=queue open in a browser tab and check it from time to time. I don't see how that's any different from a mail-filtering folder except in terms of the UI.
