We will have a scheduled maintenance window Saturday morning, Nov 3rd
from 9.30am to 4pm PDT.
Any access to Hg repositories will be completely down while we migrate
data. All trees will be closed during this period and attempts to commit
or update will be denied.
* bug 805851: hg.mozilla.org data storage migration. We will be moving
the NFS data store behind hg.mozilla.org to a new NetApp filer. We're
doing this to relieve disk i/o performance that's impacting other
resources on the existing storage array.
During this window, all trees will be closed.
As always, we will reopen the trees as soon as possible after completion
of the storage work. Our conservative estimate for your planning
purposes is a total of 6.5 hours of tree closure.
Please let me know if you have any reason why we should not proceed with
this planned maintenance. As always, we aim to keep downtime to as
little as possible, but unexpected complications can arise causing
longer downtime periods than expected. All systems should be operational
by the end of the maintenance window.
