I came from the era of Unix balkanization, when many Netscape
programmers were aware of such porting issues. Today the number of
tier 1 platforms is greatly reduced, so the attention to avoid these
porting issues is no longer valued. The OpenBSD package owner is the
unfortunate victim. I should buy him a gift when this is resolved.
Heh, well I definitely sympathize with your feelings there. I hope we
can reach a sane resolution on this matter soon!
