I just verified that the media.peerconnection.enable pref still works for me; when toggled to false, it disables the use of RTCPeerConnection. It does not disable getUserMedia (which allows the browser to ask for permission to use your camera/microphone), because that's a different thing that is used for more than webrtc; do you want to disable that also?

I have question... I am using Mozilla Firefox 56 beta 2 version... i try to disable my webrtc but I fail... I added some extensions and use manual method [1st type about:config and enter.... 2nd click on AT ANY RISK ... 3rd search ( media.peerconnection.enable . 4th click double or right click and select troggy and result is false ... after doing this I restart me browser and when I check my ip then my webrtc still enable ..... please help me ... I am student and much worried

I would also *strongly* suggest upgrading to a supported version of Mozilla... Current version is 69.  The only reason to use 56 would be an absolute need to run old XUL-type extensions -- and then you should run 56 release, not a beta.

56 is way out of date, and does not have current security fixes (and never will).   Also, the current release versions are considerably faster than 56.
