Maybe this not the right list but hopefully someone has some ideas.
I am a Tucows RSP. One of my own domains registered with NetSol expires in
April 2001. Usually there is no problem to transfer except my email has gone
on the blink.
Does anyone else use Iname? - my Iname addresses just don't work any more
and I have been fighting with support to get it fixed but no joy. Email is
simply not delivered as for some reason it has fallen back a few generations
and tries to forward to a now defunct address when I was still in Singapore.
Changing the setup does not help either - it is "stuck".
Now the problem is my iname address is the one registered under admin which
is needed for the transfer. I actually guarded against that as well by
having a password to make changes to my NetSol handle. Except although I
register changes, I get an email to say we received your request for
changes and we will get around to it when we get around to it - which of
course they never do.
So I have 3 months to transfer it - but I am not banking on Iname to get
their act together or NetSol to act though I will keep trying.
Meantime any ideas or any help from Tucows would be appreciated as I don't
want to wait till the last minute to resolve this.
