So does this mean I can finally write a version of OpenSRS using dbase? If
so, watch out. Cobol, Fortan, Ada, Prolog, ASP. This could be fun! Not!!
Folks, just give them time. They will come out with a very good API that
should meet 95% of everyone's needs.
So stop drinking the Jolt Cola, and let's figure out how to write a Cobol
version of OpenSRS. Who wants to join me in starting this?
hahahaha

Hold your horses gentlemen....
The API is being rewritten - in a much clear and non-language specific
manner. The problems you're encountering isn't a matter of language, it's
a matter of inconsistent (or undocumented) use of the protocol. This will
be fixed, and you can write it in any language you like - I'm actually
brushing up my PL/1 skills just for the occasion :)
