Hello James, and thank you for your report. The reason that an address
is requested is because that is how the purchases system tracks the
purchaser. It is true that PayPal includes your address already, but
PayPal is only an option of the purchase system as it currently stands.
Note that this may well change in the future as we improve and simplify
the purchase process.
I'll set this as a wishlist item so that we can track it and talk about
it at UDS for a future update.

Bug description:
I don't see why the software centre needs to ask for my address when
making an online purchase, or why it needs to do it every time, rather
than store the information with my account... BUT, in any case as far
as I know Paypal supplies this information so asking for it yet again
is redundant.
