@Jeremy, yes it is much improved, I did not mean to indicate otherwise.  The 
original bug as described is still there however.  It is confusing to see a 
dialog showing the Custom Shortcuts which says "To edit a shortcut, click the 
row and ..." when in fact this does not work.
Perhaps it would be better for Custom Shortcuts if the keys were entered as 
part of the dialog that sets up the Name and Command.  A third field there for 
the keys might be ideal.

Bug description:
  In up to date oneiric running gnome-control-center keyboard, I select
  "Custom Shortcuts", then + then put "GNOME Terminal" and 'gnome-
  terminal' in the fields. It tells me to hold down the new keys. I hold
  down CTRL+ALT+T and nothing happens.
