Title:
rhythmbox crashed with signal 5 in g_object_newv()
Status in “rhythmbox” package in Ubuntu:
New
Bug description:
Clean install of 12.04 on a brand new machine based on the Shuttle X35
chassis with a Kingston 60Gb SSD.
Pulled in various media players (let Rhythmbox do that for me) on
account of playing back my AAC-encoded iTunes library from my QNAP
NAS, and I got this error.
All I had done was fire up the player and point it at my music library
and hit "Import".
A relaunch has worked perfectly and imported the entire catalogue
(7000+ tracks) without issue.
No idea what prompted this b0rk; nothing else running at the time...
Happy to run tests if you'd like me to.
