Title:
Desktop panel Launcher links slow to respond
Status in “libreoffice” package in Ubuntu:
Incomplete
Bug description:
Binary package hint: nautilus
If I follow PLACES, Home, Documents and open a spreadsheet, LibreOffice opens
it in about 13 seconds.
Whereas if I click on my link which I created as a launcher on my desktop
panel, LibreOffice takes about 40 seconds to open it.
I have tried various methods of adding the links to the panel and, unlike
other (old) posts on this forum, they DO work but always much slower.
