why is this bug still not solved? all you'd have to change is to either
have a free line at all times at the bottom OR have an empty column at
the side that allows you to paste when clicked inside it.
Is that so hard to program? If I had any experience with the programming
language nautilus is written(C GTK+) in I'd do it myself.
I also read accounts from years back about this, THIS HASN'T BEEN SOLVED
FOR YEARS???

Can't paste into the folder in List view

Bug description:
If you have many files in a folder and changed it to "List View", then
you will not be able to paste any other file into the folder using the
mouse because when right click, it will always select a file and
doesn't show the option "Paste".
