Title: Evince error: Failed to read the document catalog Status in Poppler: Fix Released Status in “poppler” package in Ubuntu: Triaged Bug description: Binary package hint: evince When I tried to open the a PDF-file, I get this error: Unable to open document Failed to read the document catalog I wasn't able to to read it with Gimp or Inkspace either. But I was able to read it just fine with Adobe Reader 8 (version 8.1.3). I'm using Ubuntu 8.10 (Intrepid).
