Title:
  palimpsest crashed with SIGSEGV

Status in “gnome-disk-utility” package in Ubuntu:
  New

Bug description:
Was looking at a Windows Partition on a drive that I'd attached via
USB Cable to a computer so that I could look at it. I was running the
Ubuntu 11.10 Desktop on a USB Thumb Drive.

I had unmounted the Windows partition, I told it to check the drive,
it reported it as unclean so I hit the button to check the drive again
  and the program went down.

(At least that's my best memory of what happened.)

I am reporting this because it happened, not because it's of major
  importance to me personally.
