Title:
network manager takes domain search path even in address only mode

Status in “network-manager” package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: network-manager

  Hi,

even if I choose a connection type of "DHCP addresses only" network-
manager still takes the dns search path from the dhcp server and puts
it into /etc/resolv.conf, which does not make sense if you don't use
  the provider's DNS server.

  regards
