Title:
Taping does't work by deafault during set up. It looks as if it wasn't
  supported by OS

Status in “gnome-settings-daemon” package in Ubuntu:
  Fix Released

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: ubiquity

Touch pad taping is turned off by deafault during set up. I was able
to turn it on without a problem afterwards. But a new to Ubuntu person
wouldn't be aware of it. It looks as if it wasn't supported to him.
Believe it need's to be changed. Thanks
