Tobias, that's due to this patch: https://code.launchpad.net/~agateau/gnome-menus/directory-suffix/+merge/91663 I filed bug #934335 asking to move the icons to hicolor, so other icon themes don't need to worry about all of this.
There is also probably a bug to file against gnome-control-center.
