It happens all the time - there doesn't seem to be any button or menu 
item which allows me to open a new stream.

I have Gwibber 3.2.1 on Ubuntu 11.10.

  There seems to be no way of opening a new stream - the Gwibber menu
  does not include it (is the entry missing?) and none of the task bar
  buttons do it.
