Although all the settings that I can check are correct Gwibber will

Bug description:
Although I'm new to Ubuntu I have managed to do quite a bit with it.
Recently Gwibber stopped opening, although all the settings that I
added are there. The left hand mobile tool bar has also vanished and
the desk top looks like it did in Ubuntu 10.10. I couldn't find
anything similar in Launch Pad.
