Public bug reported:

When running Ubuntu 25.04, my Thinkpad X9 15's speakers and microphone
worked correctly, and were visible in the settings menu. After upgrading
to Ubuntu 25.10, the settings menu can no longer see the speakers or
microphone. Only a dummy output device is shown.

lspci -v shows that the audio controller is still found at a kernel
level:

00:1f.3 Multimedia audio controller: Intel Corporation Lunar Lake-M HD Audio
Controller (rev 10)
        Subsystem: Lenovo Device 233b
