I am also experiencing similar issues with video stuttering and Google Meet which completely freezes after a while. I am not on lunar lake. Comparing the GPU field in `about:support` in the firefox snap from latest/stable and the deb shows the following:
firefox snap from latest/stable: GPU Description: RENOIR (renoir, LLVM 15.0.7, DRM 3.61, 6.14.0-32-generic) ... Driver Vendor: mesa/radeonsi Driver Version: 23.2.1.0 firefox deb: GPU Description: AMD Radeon Graphics (radeonsi, renoir, ACO, DRM 3.61, 6.14.0-32-generic) ... Driver Vendor: mesa/radeonsi Driver Version: 25.0.7.0 Using the firefox from stable/core24 results in my GPU description to show "AMD Radeon Graphics" but the firefox version in that channel is an older one so I don't think that is really a solution. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Desktop Packages, which is subscribed to firefox in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2103980 Title: Firefox (snap) is slow and using software rendering on Intel Lunar Lake Status in firefox package in Ubuntu: Confirmed Bug description: Firefox (snap) is slow and using software rendering on Intel Lunar Lake CPUs. about:support shows the GPU is just "llvmpipe (LLVM..." so the version of Mesa is too old. This only happens on Intel Lunar Lake chips in Firefox latest/stable and latest/beta. It does not happen in latest/edge.
