With LO 25.8.2.2, Send by email works when Tools/Options/Internet/Email is set to /usr/bin/claws-mail AND "/usr/bin/xdg-email rPUx," appears in /etc/apparmor.d/usr.lib.libreoffice.program.senddoc AND/OR in /etc/apparmor.d/local/usr.lib.libreoffice.program.senddoc (both, in my case: the first dated Jun 15 14:00, the second Jun 15 14:27; but I can't think now what put them there !)
Send by email still fails when Tools/Options/Internet/Email is set as <blank>. In #34 above, I suggested a modification to /usr/lib/libreoffice/program/senddoc (attachment 181206, the modification labelled as #002), to set MAILER="sensible-lomua" when "--mailclient" was not supplied, solely in order to set MAILER=/usr/bin/xdg-email in the following block. I see that is not done in the current version of /usr/lib/libreoffice/program/senddoc (line 36).
