Title:
[authd] GDM does not show password expiration or offer password change
functionality.

Bug description:
If a user's password is expired like so:
sudo chage -d 0 username
or
sudo passwd -e username
On a login attempt at gdm:
* no message or prompt is shown that the password is expired and needs to be
changed, with fields offered to change the password
* login screen is shown again
Possible workarounds I'm looking at are:
* disable gdm service, force user to change pw at cli, re-enable gdm, this
makes it difficult for end user
* change user default session to something very minimal, show zenity prompts
to change password after login
