Yes I did try that but 
1) This is a bad default behaviour as users should be able to open all kinds of 
pdfs they may encounter, and indeed, this works fine in Acrobat (on Windows), 
and in other Linux pdf readers.
2) Even if not the default, it shouldn’t require fiddling with dconf settings 
to change, this should be able to be changed within Evice.

  Large PDF Only Goes up to 17% Zoom

Bug description:
  As per title, when opening this fairly large PDF (attached) Evince
  will only allow me to zoom as far as 17%. Can't go anything above
  that, much less displaying full-size.

  This isn't a bug in Poppler, as other software which uses poppler is
  able to display it as normal (e.g. Zathura does it perfectly).
