For chromium-browser this is invalid as the bug description mentions
only Chrome. If it does affect Chromium, please re-open the bug.

Another thing to try is 'chrome --disable-gpu'.

Title:
chrome doesn't work in meet with wayland, just xorg

Status in chromium-browser package in Ubuntu:
  Invalid

Bug description:
In plucky, I decided to try out wayland. Logged out, logged back in
into a wayland session, all seemed fine.

Until I started a google meet. See attached screenshot.

This is not the usual complaint about screen sharing not working, or
high CPU usage, or all that stuff we know already affects browsers and
  linux desktops in 2025.

This time, not only did my camera stopped working (but it still works
in cheese), but I could not see any video from my colleagues. Their
video stream was replaced by blank solid colors. I have never seen
  this before.
