Same issue with me.

On Ubuntu 25.04 using GNOME 48, I noticed that clicking "Suspend" from
the system menu (top-right corner) using a mouse or trackpad has no
effect — the action is ignored. However, tapping the same "Suspend"
button using the touchscreen works correctly and suspends the system as
expected.

This behavior is reproducible every time. The issue does not affect the
"Restart" or "Power Off" options — both work fine using either mouse or
touchscreen.

Steps to reproduce:
1. Open the system menu from the top-right corner.
2. Click "Suspend" using the mouse or trackpad — nothing happens.
3. Now tap "Suspend" using the touchscreen — system suspends correctly.

Additional info:
- Device: Lenovo ThinkPad T490 (with touchscreen)
- OS: Ubuntu 25.04 (fully updated as of June 5, 2025)
- GNOME version: 48
- Session: Wayland (default)
- `systemctl suspend` works fine via terminal.
- No custom GNOME extensions affecting the power menu are installed.

Expected behavior:
Clicking "Suspend" via any input method (mouse, touchpad, or touchscreen)
should trigger the suspend action.

Actual behavior:
Only touchscreen interaction triggers the suspend function. Mouse and trackpad
input is ignored for this specific button.

Attached: a short screen recording demonstrating the issue.

Thanks for your attention, and let me know if I can help further with
debugging or logs.

Title:
Suspend button does not respond to mouse click, only touchcreen

Status in gnome-shell package in Ubuntu:
  Confirmed

Bug description:
  So, this is pretty weird.

In the Shell quick settings panel (the one accessed by clicking on the
wifi/bluetooth/sound/battery part of the top bar), in the Shutdown
submenu, the "Suspend" button - and *only* the Suspend button - does
not respond to mouse clicks. I cannot use it to suspend the system
with either the touchpad or an external mouse.

The other buttons in that menu respond to mouse clicks, and the
Suspend button responds when I use the touchscreen to tap it.

I've attached a screencast in an attempt to demonstrate this (although
it obviously doesn't show when I'm actually clicking the mouse).

This behaviour has been going on for a while, at least the whole
  Mantic cycle, but maybe longer.
