Problem started after an update on May 16, 2025. Tried all the "workarounds" that were suggested, but to of no avail. I've also tried 2 other sets of mouse/keyboard... no difference. I have also noticed that several of my installed apps will not be found, when typing the name in a manual search on the app menu.
