Sorry this if that's the wrong package.  The shell tooltips showed the
window name in the dock to be "portal" so I extrapolated from there.

  Try to open say, an MP4, without an app to play it.  The dialog
  displays telling you so with a button for the app center.  Which still
  tries to launch gnome-software.  Failed to execute child process...
