Public bug reported:

When I go to the "Updates" section in the Software & Updates program, it
says I have extended security maintenance active until 12/31/9999, which
seems impossible.

This is the output of `lsb_release -rd`:

```
No LSB modules are available.
Description:    Ubuntu 24.04.2 LTS
Release:        24.04
```

this is the version of software-properties-gtk:

```
software-properties-gtk:
