Title: Sound not working Status in alsa-driver package in Ubuntu: New Bug description: On previous versions of kubuntu (before 24.04), to get to work sound on my Asus Rog Strix G712LW laptop, I just had to add the following line to the /etc/modprobe.d/alsa-base.conf file. options snd-hda-intel model=asus-zenbook or the line options snd-hda-intel model=mono-speakers that also worked. A couple of weeks ago, I've made a clean install of kubuntu 24.04 lts, and since that, the above lines only work on first reboot. On successive reboots, sound stops working and I'm unable to make it to work. I expect it to work flawlessly as in previous versions of kubuntu. Tx in advance.
