i am not denying from the bug i am also using empathy 3.3.4 and i am not be able to reproduce it.. if you attach the video than may be i will see that and show that to the some developer.and than do some thing, may be the developer able to reproduce it. are you using gnome shell? are you using nvidia ? and don't sorry for reporting the bug we thank you for reporting the bug.
