Public bug reported: On ubuntu 24.04.2 when i play audio on speakers for some reason the audio always starts delayed by a couple of seconds, when i play some example file:
pw-play /usr/share/sounds/alsa/Front_Right.wav I will hear only "right" instead of "front right". This will also happen when i listen to some audio that has a short silence break, i.e. break in a dialog in a movie. For some reason while listening on headphones everything is fine. My pipewire version is: 1.0.5-1ubuntu3 The audio device shows up as: Intel Corporation Tiger Lake-H HD Audio Controller ** Affects: pipewire (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Desktop Packages, which is subscribed to pipewire in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2103877 Title: audio play start delayed by couple of seconds after silence Status in pipewire package in Ubuntu: New Bug description: On ubuntu 24.04.2 when i play audio on speakers for some reason the audio always starts delayed by a couple of seconds, when i play some example file: pw-play /usr/share/sounds/alsa/Front_Right.wav I will hear only "right" instead of "front right".
