Turns out this was a problem with pipewire, not the kernel. Running /usr/bin/pulseaudio instead of /usr/bin/pipewire-pulse got my sound back.
Let me know if you need any help diagnosing the issue! ** Also affects: pipewire (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** No longer affects: kernel-package (Ubuntu) -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Desktop Packages, which is subscribed to pipewire in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2081001 Title: Xone 96 stopped working after upgrade to 24.04 Status in pipewire package in Ubuntu: New Bug description: The Allen & Heath XONE 96 worked as an external USB soundcard on 22.04, however stopped working after upgrade to 24.04. From the point of view of the computer everything looks normal, the sound card shows up in pavucontrol, all the volumes are up, the sound is playing, but the mixer shows zero input on the USB channel. The only potentially interesting line in dmesg after plugging in the USB is "Quirk or no altset; falling back to MIDI 1.0". I would appreciate any help figuring this out.
