Title:
Ubuntu Nautilus bug in rename file

Status in nautilus package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
  System: HP elite-book 440 G1 running Ubuntu 24.04LTS

if you rename a file in Ubuntu Nautilus via "Right-Click/Rename" and
rename a file to a case variation of the same filename, nothing at all
  happens?

in order to rename the file simply to change the case of a character
you have to completely change the name of the file to something else,
and then rename it again back to what it was before but with your
  desired variation in case

example, rename file from "setup.sh" to "Setup.sh" and nothing
happens, the file is not renamed

you have to rename the file from "setup.sh" to "SSetup.sh" and then
rename it again to "Setup.sh" in order for the file name to actually
  change
