Since I upgraded to Ubuntu 23.10 the GUI is unresponsive during, maybe 30
seconds, then it works perfectly fine.
I connected via SSH to see what was happening in the logs when that happens and
it may be the logs collected, e.g.:

g phase of GC. This is most likely caused by not destroying a Clutter actor or
Gtk+ widget with ::destroy signals conne
