For my entire posting, including info about hardware and software, see: https://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=2482269&p=14127409&mode=linear#post14127409 I've got a laptop which I'm fairly pleased with, however suspend (closing the lid) doesn't work reliably, nor do leaving the machine unattended. More often then not all applications shuts down, be it the terminal or chrome. How do I solve this? Referring to the guide below: 1) lsb_release -rd Description: Ubuntu 22.10 Release: 22.10 2) I don't know which package this affects. 3) I expect to be able to enter my password and resume where I left off. I.e. have all programs open, be it Chrome, Inkscape, Libre office or anything else. 4) What happened instead I need to do a full login and restart all apps which was running before I closed the lid (or just left the computer open and running). Please let me know which additional info is needed.
