Public bug reported: Hello, today i upgraded my Ubuntu from 22.04 to 22.10. And i had no sound.
But i found solution. I did this: systemctl start --user pulseaudio And all fixed, i have sound. Service status after reboot: systemctl status --user pulseaudio ○ pulseaudio.service - Sound Service Loaded: loaded (/usr/lib/systemd/user/pulseaudio.service; enabled; preset: enabled) Active: inactive (dead) I do not understand why 'dead', because this service enabled. Anyway, i fixed it by manual start. I do not sure that i did a correct command, but i have sound now. I hope this is bug. But do not sure. I am using simple 3.5mm headphones with mic.
