Let me see if I understand: You executed dpkg --configure -a, which
completed successfully.
You say you tried reinstalling. Did you try it in a terminal with
apt remove chromium-browser
apt install chromium-browser
? If not, can you try it and report its output?
If that doesn't solve the error, run
{ snap info chromium; chromium; } &> chr.log
and attach the chr.log file to this bug report.
Probably unrelated, but the last line of your dmesg has
> Please run fsck.
Might be a good idea to heed that.
