libreoffice for ubuntu is missing an important symlink required for
libreoffice to run properly without crashing the required file must be
patched by creating a symlink in the directory for the missing symlink
in /root/.config/libreoffice/4/user/config/

when you do a fresh install of any ubuntu 18.04.5 LTS
do these commands then update/upgrade your system
for all the patches to take place.

run the commands to fix it yourself

ln -s /home/xubuntu/Desktop/libreoffice/javasettings_Linux_X86_64.xml
/home/xubuntu/Desktop/libreoffice/javasettings_Linux_*.xml
