The 91.8.0ESR is what I got through snap and its super broken. Which is
why I went for the manual install.

Something weird is going on because I just looked at the package I
installed from and it is the 99.0.1 but for some strange reason it comes
up as 91.0.2

I dunno whats going on.

Title:
Firefox update pushing me to update to 91.0.1 when I am on 91.0.2

Status in firefox package in Ubuntu:
  Invalid

Bug description:
I am using Firefox on Ubuntu 16.04 and has been spamming me to update
my browser for awhile now and thus I did so today to 91.0.2, only to
discover the update spam continues telling me to update to 91.0.1 :/

What can I say, why is pushing people to update to a previous version
  a thing?

Please give me a patch that allows users like me to choose whether I
want to update, OR NOT, and disable the update spam message that
  occurs multiple times a day!
