In combination with Wobbly Windows, this gives an annoying behavior. The setting for snappy windows in compiz is off (stays of), and sticky edges in system settings/display are off and stay off. I resolve the issue by fooling around with these settings and by switching wobbly windows off and on again. But the edges should not get sticky by themselves, should they? It may be related to Google Chrome. I noticed strange behavior of Chrome when this happened just a minute ago, like the Chrome window flickering and turning on and off.
