Title: 20_do_not_place-windows-over-the-launcher.patch is not being applied, adversely affects unity-2d Status in Unity 2D: Triaged Status in “metacity” package in Ubuntu: Fix Released Status in “metacity” source package in Oneiric: Fix Committed Bug description: SRU TESTCASE 1. start Ubuntu 2d session from the login screen 2. start gnome terminal 3. note the launcher hides since the new window is created just below the launcher area 4. now install metacity from oneiric-proposed 5. repeat 1 and 2 6. note now the new window is created just right to the launcher so that it does not hide In the last rebuild of metacity, (metacity (1:2.34.1-1ubuntu4) oneiric on Sept. 16th ), this patch isn't being applied, it's in the patches folder but not listed in series file.
