The package will build now and be available at https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-shell-extension-desktop- icons/20.04.0+git20200908-5~ubuntu20.10.0 in a few hours, and then in the -proposed repository.

Drag the new file from the desktop into the nautilus (Files) window. The shell should not become unresponsive. Also, the drag is expected to fail and snap back.
