Is there an error message that is visible or the window just never appears?

I checked /usr/share/applications/org.gnome.DejaDup.desktop to see if the command being launched by GNOME was different, but I didn't find anything unusual; the exec was the same. Deja Dup still runs automatic backups successfully, as far as I can tell.
