Public bug reported: This may be related to bugs 1878998 and 1878998. The arrowhead of a popup-menu-boxpointer-arrow persists (remains visible) after the boxpointer-arrow is dismissed (say, right click to rename a folder on the desktop and then just click elsewhere on the desktop). A second click on the desktop then causes the arrowhead to disappear. This just a cosmetic issue but may indicate an underlying problem with gnome-shell. It's new in 20.04 and doesn't matter which shell theme is used.
